Meet Our Doctor
Danny Chirla
DDS, MPH
Dr. Chirla was born in Romania and moved to the United States when he was 5 years old. His parents fled communist Romania to allow for better opportunities throughout their life and for their child. Dr. Chirla believed that he needed to better himself personally and professionally because of his parents’ sacrifice. Since leaving Romania, he has lived in several states, but has proudly called Texas his home for the last 30 years.
Dr. Chirla’s educational career began at Texas A&M University, where he earned a degree in Biomedical Sciences. Then he obtained a Masters in Health Policy and Management at Texas A&M School of Public Health. He completed his DDS at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and has been practicing for over 10 years. Along the way, he served as president of the Psi Omega Dental fraternity and was an active member of the student body.
Compassionate
Dr. Chirla dedicates his time to providing quality care and comfort for every patient. Throughout his years of practice, he has taken countless hours of advanced continuing education courses to better treat each patient. His mission is for each patient to have a comfortable and positive experience at the dental office.
When he's not in the office
Dr. Danny enjoys spending time with his family, his wife, Katharine, and their daughter, Gianna. He is active in his local church, enjoys traveling with his family, grilling outdoors (when it’s not too hot), and scoping out the Houston restaurant scene. He is also an avid sports fan, particularly of the Houston Rockets and alma mater the Texas A&M Aggie football team.
